PALACE BRIDGE is perhaps the most famous in St. Petersburg. It is iconic in its standing during the nights, and one can find the image all around the city on souvenirs. All around this bridge, one can see the great architecture that surrounds the Neva River. It is perhaps the one bridge in all of St. Petersburg that you must see before leaving. The Palace bridge is a traffic and walking bridge in one. The length of the bridge is 260.1 meters, and the width is 27.8 meters. The bridge connects the Palace Embankment with Vasilievsky Island. |
