EXCHANGE BRIDGE - One of the smaller and yet beautiful bridges in St. Petersburg. The Exchange Bridge was completed in 1960. Also named the Birzhevoy Bridge, it has a length of 239 meters, and a width of 27 meters. It is called the Exchange Bridge because one can see the Russian Exchange center in St. Petersburg from the bridge. It connects Vasilevsky Island and the Mitninskaya Embankment. |
