Retro Tram Parade in Saint Petersburg

Guests and residents of Saint Petersburg will have the chance to see the same trams that transported the citizens of Leningrad during the Great Patriotic War. The parade will pass through Vasilievsky Island on January 27. While spectators of the parade will be able to see these cool trams, they will also have the chance to take a ride on them as well.  

Several restored trams from the war years will pass through the streets of Vasilevsky Island and might even travel around St. Petersburg. 

The parade of the retro trams is timed to the 70th anniversary of the complete lifting of the blockade of Leningrad. Similar events have already become a great tradition.

In addition to the parade, the tram museum will host a very interesting exhibit on the same day.
