Metro to Work at Night During Holidays

The metro in Saint-Petersburg will be working at night during holidays this year according to the Transport Committee. 

The metro in St. Petersburg will be working at night during holidays this year according to the Transport Committee. During 2014, the metro will work 8 times, during night. These days will be on New Year, Christmas, Easter, on 2nd and 10th of May, the Long Night of Museums, City Day and on Scarlet Sails celebration. Every station will be operating during these days throughout the night from 1 am to 5 am, and the price of one ride will not change.

Before, the Transport Committee also offered a round the clock type of schedule for the five most popular bus routes in St. Petersburg. 

Also, during the period from April 30th to November 15th in St. Petersburg, night buses will be working along the lines of the metro and the operating of the metro from Admiralteiskaya station to Sportivnaya station. Night buses will also be working around the clock on Easter, on April 20th.
