Tulip Festival on Elagin Island

In a series of sunny days on Elagin Island will bloom all imaginable and unimaginable colors and turn into a great kingdom of tulips. Thousands of colors will tell the citizens and guests of St. Petersburg that a warm spring has finally arrived. 

The Tulip Festival is considered one of the most exciting spring events in St. Petersburg that happens annually on Elagin Island.

This year, the island literally turns into a field of flowers with a total area of 1,700 square meters of flowerbeds. Thus flowers will grow not only on land but also in the water. Florists will make floating podiums: boats with strange floral compositions into the water and set sail to the delight of the audience.

The festival will give residents and visitors a beautiful and rich entertainment program, which includes performances by musicians, florists, competitions, as well as interactive areas to create stunning images.
