Pedestrian Walkway from Dumskaya to Griboedov CanalThe government is discussing the possibility of closing traffic on Nevsky Prospect site during the weekends and using the space for cultural activities.This is a small stretch of 200 meters from Dumskaya Street to Griboyedov Canal. City authorities want to use the space for cultural activities. It is assumed that to organize the pedestrian zone would be best in the summer.Currently, pedestrians can walk on Nevsky Prospect with no traffic only two days a year - 9 May and City Day. |
