The Mariinsky Theatre Will Hold Free ConcertsNow you can enjoy ballet, classical works and operatic arias under the roof of the chamber halls in the new Mariinsky Theatre of St. Petersburg. Residents and visitors can attend these spectacular shows for free, under the "Open Wednesday” program.The Mariinsky Theatre recently opened a four-chamber hall, named in honor of the great composers - Mussorgsky, Prokofiev, Stravinsky and Shchedrin.The shows are always sure to put on a great performance and the new Mariinsky chamber: for example, the hall is perfect for Prokofiev piano performances due to its geometry, but also because it is great for the grand Steinway & Sons piano, in which the value reaches seven million rubles.
