The First Hamleys Toy Store Opened in St. Petersburg

The legendary British toyshop will open its doors under the roof of the shopping mall "Nevsky Center" (Nevsky Prospect, 114/116, third floor) this Saturday, July 19, 2014. The oldest Hamleys shop, which came to Russia from the shores of Albion, England, promises to be an interesting addition to the great variety of shops on Nevsky Prospect. 

Hamley’s will be the largest toyshop in St. Petersburg with an area of about a thousand square meters. 

The old British shop will not only have toys, but also entertainment for all ages.

Naturally, this discovery will not pass by the residents of St. Petersburg unnoticed, and will surely be remembered by many: Transformers battles unfold here, a parade of puppets and show giant soap bubbles.

In addition, professional stylists of Hamleys will help young heroes get into the country of elves where girls will be able to transform into an elf princess, and boys will be able to learn to fight dragons.

Of course, the grand opening will be with contests and free toys!

It is worth noting that the brand Hamleys appeared in 1760. Currently, worldwide, the shop has 31 locations. In Russia, the British kingdom of toys can already be found in Moscow and Krasnodar.
