The PRODIGY group is coming to St. Petersburg on May 30th at the Ice Palace for a concert that promises to be amazing! One of the most famous electronic groups on the planet will be playing in front of a packed stadium. The Prodigy began in 1991, when their first mini album “What Evil Lurks”, premiered with the great works of a young Liam Howlett. The single was seen as what was to become the future of rave/electronic music, and the music quickly became in rotation in several clubs. This original cd is almost impossible to find anywhere nowadays, but it was the start of the legend that is today, The Prodigy. After the successful release of their debut single, the band went on tour in the UK, playing in mostly small underground clubs. Italian ravers had enthusiastically received their first overseas tour in Italy, and the groups symbol is an ant, which is often mistaken for a spider. The Prodigy performed with Moby, Sepultura, Dog Eat Dog, and Suede. To date, the band has sold over 25 million albums worldwide. All albums and singles occupied a place in the UK dance charts. The album entitled, “The Fat of the Land,” entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest sold out British album. According to a survey conducted by the organizers of the festival Global Gathering, The Prodigy was considered the most influential electronic group from the UK. The group has won six MTV Europe Music Awards (1994, 1996, 1997, and 1998), and four MTV Video Music Awards. On May 30th, 2012, The Prodigy will be playing their greatest hits live in front of a packed stadium of ravers and excited fans. Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity and come out to enjoy a night you will never forget! Address: Prospekt Pyatiletok 1 (Проспект Пятилеток, 1) |
