From July 27th to August 3rd, St. Petersburg will be hosting the VIII International Film Festival on the beach at Peter and Paul Fortress. The event will be an open-air cinema, and the theme is called, “Around the world in one night.” On this day, the audience will wait for an art program, as well as a marathon of short films and cartoons that are being watched by the largest audiences in the world. During this festival, viewers will be able to watch a bright collection of short films from around the world. Viewers will have a great opportunity to see great perspectives from those directors around the world, giving the viewers a great experience. Countries such as: France, Britain, Spain, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and Canada will be the film giants participating in the festival. Other countries such as: Cuba, Albania, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, and Kazakhstan, will be showing more “exotic” films. The evening program: -Light music and DJs -The “Around the world in one night” marathon of films -Open-air café and elite beers from around the world -Arcade and children’s games -Capoeira shows and workshops -Yoga on the sand with a master from India- Kerala Entrance is 400 rubles, Children under 12 years old- free of charge. |
