The Colonnade of St. Isaac’s Cathedral is a hugely popular spot for tourists in St. Petersburg. With a height of 43 meters, it is possible to survey the entire center of the northern capital of Russia. Traditionally, the journey to the top of the cathedral is whopping 526 steps, but this will all change with a twelve person maximum elevator that will be installed. The restoration of St. Isaac's Cathedral, which lasted nearly a year and a half, is already in the advanced stage, and is soon to be finished. |
