In St. Petersburg, there will soon be places where you can charge your cell phones for free. The machines will be placed in the most visited places in the city such as coffee shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, and other popular areas in St. Petersburg. The first has already appeared in "Coffee House" on the 7th line on Vasilevskiy Island.

The Machine called “V Energy” ("Вольт Энерджи") consists of six cells inside of them wired for charging most brands of cell phones. These brands include: Apple, Samsung, HTC, Nokia, LG and others.

The cells are electronically locked with password protection that the users choose. The system is similar to those used currently in supermarkets when locking away your bags. 

Two machines are already in the Pulkovo Airport and will soon be free.
