A great deal is coming to St. Petersburg soon! The Cultural Committee of St. Petersburg decided to make an event for all those who love going to the theatre, to be able to go for only 10 rubles! Last year the Cultural Committee of St. Petersburg decided to do it on Valentines Day, but this year it will be held on City Day, May 27th. The theatre box office will start selling tickets on May 25th in the morning.

Last year’s event was on St. Valentine’s Day, and a total of 12,000 tickets were sold in less than two hours, broking the speed record sales at a box office in Russia. The most popular theatres amongst the citizens of St. Petersburg were: Mikhailovskiy, Aleksandrinskiy, Youth Theatre (Molodezhny Theatre) on Fontanka, and the Akimov Comedy Theatre.
