On March 17th, 2013, St. Petersburg residents will be celebrating Maslenitsa at 300 years St Petersburg's anniversary park. The theme of this year’s festival is somewhat of a comic celebration featuring aliens. The crowd will contain extraterrestrial beings and little green men.

The program of the festival:

- Star pancake marathon

- Games and dances

- Moonlight rides and carousels

- Ethereal treats and gifts

- Maslenitsa Fair.

Admission is free.

Time: 10.30-19.00, 17.30 - farewell to winter and snowmen, 18.00-Big Pancake fire

Location: 300 years St Petersburg's anniversary park, Primorskiy Prospect.
