On the night of June 23 to 24, 2013 in Saint-Petersburg will be the most romantic night of the summer – "The Scarlet Sails". In the lightest night of the White Nights on the Neva River the ship of the dream will sail under the scarlet sails – a symbol of hopes, dreams and bright future. This celebration has become one of the most significant events in life of Saint-Petersburg. The celebration will unfold on the Palace Square and the on Spit of Basil Island. On the night of 23 to 24 June 2013 on the Neva River the fabulous ship under the scarlet sails will appear again. Its appearance will be the culmination of the event " The Scarlet Sails" which is traditionally held in Saint-Petersburg.
