IMPORTANT UPDATE: Dear all, We are very sorry for misleading you all a bit, but according to the updated information the actual celebration of the Scarlet Sails will take place not June 22-23, but June 23-24. But the administration of the ship said that they are going to have a boat ride on June 22 anyway. It will be the general rehearsal of the Scarlet Sails. And the boat ride described below will take place anyway. So let us know if anyone wants any tickets for this ride. We are now going to do another press release with the correct date of the actual celebration! Thanks for your understanding! On the night of June 22 2013 Saint-Petersburg will be glowing with smiles, hugs & kisses , on the most romantic night of the summer – "The Scarlet Sails". In the lightest night of the White Nights on the Neva River the ship of the dream will sail under the scarlet sails – a symbol of hopes, dreams and bright future. This celebration has become one of the most significant events in life of Saint-Petersburg. While everyone else will be squeezed in amongst the crowd, helplessly trying to see the firework show from the palace bridge or the embankment, you will be sitting comfortably on board a double-deck ship sipping on a glass of champagne.
