The Day of Paratroopers (Russian: День ВДВ) will be celebrated in the city tomorrow, on August 2. On this day there will be a lot of interesting events: a traditional concert at Maritime Victory Park (Primorsky Park Bobedy), parade of the "Blue Berets", show of paratroopers, and charity events.

Social events will begin at 10 am in which includes the laying of wreaths and flowers at the memorials and monuments to soldiers of the Paratroopers. Also at 10:00 on Palace Square, there will be a solemn congratulation broadcasted.

At 12:00 at the walls of the Peter and Paul Fortress will be a volley of cannons in honor of the veterans of the Air Force. At 12:30 there will a parade of veterans. The column will proceed from Palace Square to the Field of Mars, where flowers will be laid at the memorial.

At 15:00, there will be a traditional concert in the Maritime Victory Park. The event will hold demonstrations of skydiving, and the park will develop a cafe, and everyone will be able to visit an exhibition of military uniforms and paratrooper equipment.
