On September 14th, 2013, hundreds of cyclists in tweed jackets and other related accessories, vintage, will be riding their vintage bicycles that date back to the beginning of the XX century, will drive large column on the Square of Arts (Russian: Площадь Искусств) along Nevsky Prospekt to the Peter and Paul Fortress. The first idea of «Tweed Run» first appeared in 2009. One day a young man named Ted Yang-Ying went into one of the Edinburgh shops where he bought a pair of tweed trousers and woolen knee-highs. Ted loved the traditional English style, which he gathered like-minded people who love to bicycle and early 20th century British fashion. The event has already managed to gain popularity, and will be held in St. Petersburg for the third time. The route has already been agreed upon, but maybe there will be some adjustments made. It is assumed that the aristocratic convoy will travel on the area of the Square of Arts, Nevsky Prospekt, Vasilevsky Island and Kronverkskaya embankment to the Peter and Paul Fortress.
