Some roofers climbed to the top of the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood on September 15th, 2013. On the same date, the video was released. The climbers first climbed up a drainpipe and then on special ladders to get to the top. On the roof of the Savior on Spilled Blood, the climbers had a nice view of the city from the early morning vantage point of St. Petersburg. However, when the roofers tried to climb down, the police were notified. The numerous cameras on the roof of the church attracted the attention of law enforcement. Police arrived at the Church of the Savior on the Spilled Blood and started to climb up to the top of the roof. The roofers had been on top of the church for about 20 minutes. According to witnesses, the roofers and police behaved relatively politely. Meanwhile, the video has caused a variety of opinions among people in St. Petersburg.
