The most developed areas of St. PetersburgFour districts of St. Petersburg were winners of a competition for the best integrated landscaping and overall nicest districts of St. Petersburg, the press service of the city administration announced. The winner of the contest was the Kalininsky district, second place was Primosky district, and 3rd place was Frunzensky district. The Moskovsky district won the second group of districts, 2nd place was the Nevsky district, and 3rd place was Krasnogvardeysky district. In the third group, the best district was the Central District, 2nd place was given to Petrogradsky district, and 3rd was Admiralteisky.” Among the suburbs of St. Petersburg, first place was awarded the Pushkin district and second place was awarded to Kolpinsky district. According to the press service, the competition this year featured more than 200 facilities in 14 categories. As part of the competition was assessed a full range of improvements: paving, repairs, lawns, flowerbeds, walkways, and trees. Also such other improvements were taken into account: safety, construction of parking lots, and new recreation areas. The heads of district administrations have been encouraging workers who have distinguished themselves in the organization and conduct of the competition. In addition, the participants of the contest in the nomination "The best accomplishment created by the residents of St. Petersburg " and "great contributions to the improvement of the common property of apartment buildings and adjacent areas in St. Petersburg", could be presented the award of the Government of St. Petersburg - Marks of Honor "For the care and beauty of the city."
