The Mariinsky Theatre will have its own hotelThe Mariinsky Theatre will have its own hotel. It will be located in a vacant building on Lermontov Street, 14b. The other day it was handed over to the federal property, under the control of FGUK of the Mariinsky Theatre. The resettlement will be in a four-storey house built in the late XIX century by the architect Ludwig Fontana. In the 1910's there was a Jewish Community School of upbringing and education in this building. A former apartment building will be turned into a hotel soon, but the reconstruction and renovations have yet to begin. The completion of the work in the building is still not yet known. After repairs there will be accommodation for foreign and non-resident company and artists. SP Guide's Most Popular: |
