1. Griffin Tower How to get there: walk 10 minutes from Vasileostrovskaya metro station along the 7th line, turn onto Dneprovskiy pereulok (Russian: Днепровский пер.) (between buildings 18 and 20.) Tolstoy’s House How to get there: From Dostoevskaya metro station, go along Shcherbakovkiy pereulok (Russian: Щербаковский пер.) towards Rubinshtein street (Russian: ул. Рубинштейна), cross it and turn right. Walk 100 meters or 10 minutes. Mind that at night the courtyard is closed. Mozaichniy Dvor (Mosaic Courtyard) on Fontanka From metro station Chernyshevskaya, walk to Tchaikovskogo Street (Russian: ул Чайковского), then turn left and move towards the end of Fontanka, which takes about 20 minutes. Yard of Carlson’s House From Gostiny Dvor metro station, turn right and walk 10 minutes along Nevsky Prospekt to Anichkov Bridge, then turn right right after crossing it. Benoit House or Thoroughfare on Kamennoostrovsky From Petrogradskaya metro station, walk 15 minutes on Kamennoostrovsky to the left when exiting the subway (15 minute walk). Courtyard of the Faculty of Philology (Saint-Petersburg State University СпбГУ) From metro Vasileostrovskaya, walk to University Embankment, it usually takes 15 minutes and the most difficult thing is to get inside. Kunstkammer Yard From metro Vasileostrovskaya, walk along the 7th line to Lieutenant Schmidt Embankment (Russian: Наб. Лейтенанта Шмидта), then to University Embankment (Universitetskaya Naberezhnaya.) Then go along Mendeleev line, then along Birzhevoy proezd, and then - Tamozhenny pereulok.
