On February 23rd on the spit of Vasilievsky Island, there will be a grand fireworks display. The show will begin promptly at 21:00 and bright lights illuminate the Neva.

Defender's Day (Russian: День защитника Отечества) this year will mark a wide variety of activities, starting with the 1812 reconstruction of the fighting in Ekateringof park to opening an interactive exhibition at the Museum "Neva Outpost" (Russian: Невская Застава) with lectures about combat glory.

The program will be completed with a grand fireworks display, which will be at 21:00 at the spit of Vasilevsky Island. This was reported by the press service of the government of St. Petersburg.
