The world's largest sailing ship "Sedov" will arrive in St. Petersburg

Barque Sedov is returning from his first voyage around the world. The largest of the surviving sailing ships of our time will arrive in St. Petersburg on the embankment of Lieutenant Schmidt.

On Konyushennaya Ploshad 10, lit B, there is one of the most exciting interactive museums in St. Petersburg! 

The large museum is for anyone who enjoys arcade games, Soviet memorabilia, or loves to play slot machines. This place makes you feel like a kid again! There are over 50 exhibits in the museum. WOW! 

"Living Flames" will happen from September 12th to the 14th and there will be thousands of fiery sparks and flames along with fascinating dances, a big fire show and a unity between the audience and fire. The festival will be one of the most interesting and colorful of the year.

Starting today the new Mariinsky Theatre building will have an outdoor terrace. Everyone will be able to enjoy the view of the historic city center from the roof of the "Mariinsky Theatre".

On July 14th, 2013 at 14:30, there will be a huge water fight in St. Petersburg. Come out and cool off during this summer with a water-filled festival of fun! Near the fountains on Moskovskiy Ploshad, at metro station, Moskovskaya, come out and fight in a “water-war.” Each person should be armed with any conventional means at hand: a water pistol, a bottle of water, or even a bucket, so they can defend their honor on the battlefield. :)

In the vastness of "Lenekspo" center there will be the water celebration in the city of St. Petersburg. Residents and guests of the city will be able to relax in a huge Jacuzzi in the open air, take a dip in the pool, as well as a ride on a variety of water attractions and a very real summer rink.

This festival offers an extensive program, which will be attended by theater groups and musical groups. "Theatre of Rains' will show a unique presentation, and there will be live music from the main stage all day long. The annual "Imperial Bouquet" is perhaps one of the most recognizable and significant events of summer in Pavlovsk. Alley Park will be decorated with neat objects, and on the lawns will be real pictures of flowers. There will be the best florists and designers, surprising the guests of the festival with unusual floral formations and landscape designs. The unique landscape of the park, the architectural masterpieces of Charles Cameron, Vincenzo Brenna and Pietro Gonzaga, and the intricate curves of the Slavyanka River, create the perfect conditions for the floral and landscape designs. As part of the colorful activities, you can take part in workshops on drawing up of bouquets, table setting, floral combinations, and photography. Also, everyone will be able to enjoy the performances of the artists at the gala, which has become a tradition for this kind of event.

From july 1st and until August 17, one can enjoy an amazing exhibit of giant Ladybugs in the Southern Atrium of one of the city’s largets shopping malls called Galeria, located on Ligovsky pr. 30 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Henk Hofsra, the author of these fantastic art-objects, promised to install the ladybugs at children’s play grounds, schools and medical institutions when the exhibit is over. 

As part of the annual festival of street art in St. Petersburg, guests will be able to get acquainted with all the most impressive trends of street art.

The first event of the festival will be called "Museum of street art in open air." The streets of St. Petersburg will turn into a real open-air gallery, and works of famous modern artists will cover billboards in the city center.
