On March 24th, 2013, there will be a German romantic music concert in St. Petersburg. The concert, performed by the Symphony Orchestra "Moskovsky", starts at 19:00 and will include works by Schumann, Weber and Mendelssohn.

Taking over the place where the seafood restaurant, “Nordsee” is located at Nevsky Prospect 55, there will be a new Starbucks coffee café. Now you can see while passing by the location, a sign hanging in the window saying opening soon.

Starting on May 9th, and lasting until May 18th, Cirque du Soleil will be coming to St. Petersburg to perform a new show called "Alegria." Cirque du Soleil has already won worldwide success and is increasingly coming to St. Petersburg. The show "Alegria" means "celebration", or "fun."

From May 18th until May 19th, come and join in the long night of museums exhibition all around St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg police stopped a flash mob, whose members were trying to perform the massively popular online hit of the Harlem Shake @ Galeria Shopping Center.

The rally was scheduled at 16:00 in front of the shopping center "Galleria" on March 3rd, 2013. The Ligovsky organizers planned it mainly through social networks. "Call friends, put together an ordinary suit and lets do this in the city center" - said in the announcement.

On March 17th, 2013, St. Petersburg residents will be celebrating Maslenitsa at 300 years St Petersburg's anniversary park. The theme of this year’s festival is somewhat of a comic celebration featuring aliens. The crowd will contain extraterrestrial beings and little green men.

At all stops in Kupchino there will be new QR-codes. With this, the Frunzenskiy district residents will be able to know exactly when the bus or trolleybus will arrive. In order to "read" the code, you just need to install this application on a mobile phone capable of doing this.
