100,000 people will greet the Olympic torch in St. Petersburg

Some roofers climbed to the top of the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood on September 15th, 2013. On the same date, the video was released. 

The climbers first climbed up a drainpipe and then on special ladders to get to the top. On the roof of the Savior on Spilled Blood, the climbers had a nice view of the city from the early morning vantage point of St. Petersburg. 

On October 10th, 2013, come and listen to great masterpieces of traditional Japanese music "Gaku", by the mouth organ Syo by Naoyuki Manabe, and experience sound in the walls of the branch of the Moscow House of Nationalities in St. Petersburg.

The traditional Japanese "gagaku" music is well known because of its connection with the philosophical and religious cults of Japan, and has the strongest meditative property. The mouth organ Syo is special though. Its sound is fantastic and it certainly sounds like a haze from the sky. It is believed that anyone who heard the sound of this unusual instrument can come closer to solving the Japanese soul.

The Summer Garden will be hosting a great celebration of the closing of the fountains. In the vastness of one of the most beautiful parks in St. Petersburg there will be music playing, and birds everywhere making their own music. The celebration happens on September 29th, 2013.

This year the theme of the celebration will be birds. Visitors can anticipate such activities as: live music, photo sessions with birds from the zoo, refreshments, souvenirs, harvesting a vegetable garden in the red garden, as well as a variety of creative themed workshops.

On Pravda Street, house number 10, near the metro stations "Vladimirskaya " and "Dostoevskaya", has recently opened the official hotel of the State Hermitage Museum. 

In total, the Hermitage Hotel has seven categories of rooms - "Premium", "Deluxe", "Junior", "Luxury", "Hermitage Apartments", "Imperial Apartments," and "Presidential Suite". The cheapest room for one person will cost about 11,000 rubles a day.

Starting on September 28th, 2013, you can take home cats in which lived in the Hermitage museum. Twelve of the Hermitage cats will take part in a charity event called "Home Sweet Home" in the art and culture center "loft project Etazhi" on Ligovsky, 74. Come and get a great cat completely free, all you need is a passport and a good heart.

The American rock band "30 Seconds to Mars", headed by its fascinating front-man Jared Leto is touring the world with their album called "Love Lust Faith + Dreams" and will take the stage of the SKK arena in St. Petersburg on March 18th, 2014.

Brothers Jared and Shannon Leto founded the group in 1998 and it began as a family project. Jared concurrently is also a famous Hollywood actor. Their debut album, 30 Seconds to Mars, was released in 2002. To date, the group has four full-length records and a lot of music awards.
