So, for example, a donut without filling, but with frosting will cost 70 rubles. A donut with apple and cinnamon, berries or bananas inside, will cost 80 rubles. And a donut with cheesecake or cream sauce with a mint glaze will cost 90 rubles.

The Russian State Duma has just adopted an anti-smoking law. The members of the Duma voted the adoption of the new bill on. 441 members voted in favor of the bill and just one member voted against it. The new law will come into force on June 1st, 2013. Starting on January 1, 2014, the tax on tobacco products will increase drastically. Then starting on June 1st, 2014, there will be a complete ban on smoking in trains, hotels, restaurants, and railroad stations. Tighter control over the production of tobacco products, as well as equipment for the production of these products will come into force on January 1st, 2017.

The Aurora is a symbol of the October Revolution and its famous 1917 “blank shot”, was the signal for the storming of the Winter Palace. In 1944, the cruiser was put on eternal parking in the Neva River, as a museum-monument for naval history of St. Petersburg. Since the mid- 20th century, it is a branch of the Central Naval Museum of Russia.

Today, 27 January, the city of St. Petersburg, celebrates the 69th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege during the Great Patriotic War (World War II) from 1941-1945. At 7 pm tonight, the torches at the Rostral columns will be lit up in remembrance of those who lost their lives during this time. Then at 9 pm, a fireworks show will be held at the walls of the Peter and Paul fortress.

Just a few days ago on January 19th, 2013, the Siberian town of Novosibirsk hosted the Miss Snow Universe beauty pageant. There were 20 beautiful contestants who bared the freezing cold temperatures in just a blue bikini and banner. According to the pageant co-organizer, Tatyana Fetisova, said that the girls desired to have a session in a blue swimsuit because they wanted to do something out of the ordinary, and the best way to do this is in one of the most coldest places on Earth, Siberia.
